Hello wonderful people!!! I have been SO busy lately I couldn’t post (and I barely crocheted anything ) soooooo here’s the update! (Sorry the lighting kinda muted the colors )
Ok so I found out the my next market is October 23rd for three and a half hours and it’s an evening market! Which I’ve never done before lol it’ll be weird not saying good morning to everyone! So any tips if it’s different then a morning market would be greatly appreciated!
And since it’s an October market I’m crocheting pumpkins right now so I will show you guys those next week!
I also saw a GENIUS thing on Pinterest and I CAN’T WAIT to show you guys!!!
And I think I’m going to start crocheting minis for my $5 basket! So any suggestions would be appreciated! (I have a lot of pink yarn rn ) I hope you guys are having a wonderful day crochet filled day!
All but one of my markets have been night markets. My only suggestion would be, depending on your venue, bring some lighting with you! Even little fairy lights (I am bringing purple lights for my Halloween market) make a big difference in drawing people’s attention. But don’t have a huge light shining in your neighboring vendors’ eyes - no one likes that, lol.
As for minis, I would recommend checking out the blogs of two different designers - Stitch by Fay, and Sweet Softies. I use their patterns for my $5 bins at every market! And Loops and Knots Crochet on YouTube has an excellent mini axolotl and possum. I can probably think of more if you need.
Good luck! Your stuff looks great . Your cats are so sleekly stitched and I especially love the dragon. Pattern? My next market is actually on Halloween, and I thought about bringing lights, but it’s a day market.
I love all of those adorable things you made (especially the white and brown loaf cats )! What pattern do you use for them?
Since you have a lot of pink yarn, you should definitely make little piglets! I love this pattern:
I did adjust the bobbles for the feet when I made them, though. I moved them to the end of one round and the beginning of another so they’re two stitches apart, because I liked how it looked better (and they stood a little better ).
