Market recap!

Hey y’all! I just got back from my market (and washing a million baby spiders out of my hair:sob:), so I wanted to do a little recap!
It started out r o u g h. Pouring rain and my booth was in the middle of a field, so anywhere you walked ended up being a puddle of mud.
The venue ended up having little plastic boards that they connected to make pathways, because a little old lady on a scooter got stuck in the mud:sob:
I ended up losing two plushies to the mud:sob: I’m gonna see if there’s any way I can clean them later.
My first pair of shoes (and my mom’s as well) ended up getting completely soaked through and really muddy within 20 minutes of getting there, so my dad brought us each another pair. Those got soaked and muddy of course but they lasted us until the end!

Hmmmm I’m actually not sure lol I think I crochet around average speed? When I get bored of market prep I like to make a million of one thing at once so when I’m done I’m done haha. Like for my axolotls I’ll make like 20 bodies, then the all the gills, and then I would sew all of them!

I like the medium to long ones! 6-7 hours is the best for me, but the longest one I’ve done was over 8 hours!

I’m not either:sob: I was feeling it this morning bc I had homecoming last night too:skull: lesson learned don’t stay up most of the night at homecoming and then wake up at 6:30 for your market!
I was lowkey falling asleep once I finally finished setting up my booth

Crochet items are really really popular in my area! I’m not quite sure why, but a lot of people near me are knowledgeable about crochet but have also never done it, so they love buying from those who do? If that makes sense idk:sob:

Wow lucky, where I’m from crochet items are not very popular and almost every costumer I’ve ever had thought my stuff was over priced and they weren’t even as high as some of yours :sob:
It’s very unfortunate.
