Check out Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson! It’s a YA book, so it lacks the stuff you want to avoid.

Well it kinda has a little murder in it but I agree not a lot. Thanks for clarifying that it doesn’t have and sexual things cause I was very sure.

The only murder mystery books I know (other than Sherlock Holmes) is this manga called Case Closed
It’s about this 16yr old in Japan named Jimmy who gets turned into a 5-6yr old (and renames himself Conan) and solves mysteries. About 90% of the mysteries have murder involved so there’s a lot of blood. I also think they’re kinda hard to come by because I’ve only seen them in 1 library in Korea. I think there’s also an anime
