A little secret for all my fellow crochet creators!
Do you, like me, suffer from dry hands and temporary cracking due to constant friction from acrylic and other yarn types during long crafting sessions?

Don’t worry, my creative friend! If you don’t have a store-bought hand cream on hand, I have the magical solution that completely saved my hands (kindly recommended by my lovely mom
):
“The Olive Oil & Cornstarch Mix”
Why this duo is truly amazing:
Olive Oil: Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants that deeply nourish the skin and replenish the natural oils lost while handling fibers and yarns.
Cornstarch: Acts as a natural soothing agent that helps lock moisture inside the skin, giving your hands a soft, velvety texture without any annoying greasy residue that would stop you from getting right back to crocheting!

Simple How-to:
Mix roughly equal amounts (or a few drops) of olive oil with a pinch of cornstarch until you get a light, creamy texture.
Gently massage it into your hands after finishing every crochet project or workshop.
Leave it on for a short while for your skin to absorb it, then wash your hands with warm water to notice instant softness!

Try it out and let me know what you think, and share with us in the comments: What is your favorite way to pamper your hands after crochet?

“I use it so much that the container is completely empty now!”

“Thank you so much! But as a gentle tip from me, I advise you to start moisturizing your hands before they get dry, especially since you never know when this problem might hit, so you can protect your hands from the yarn dryness!”

“I’m also still very young since I’m in my early teens, but I suffer from this because of my sensitivity to certain types of yarn and also because of pulling the yarn between my fingers while crafting! I really hope you share the recipe with your neighbor too.

Oh wow, 90?! May God prolong her life! She’s actually older than my grandmother, so she definitely needs this recipe!

yeah, let’s hope god welcomes her into heaven in a least seven years, if not more, because she is so kind that i know he has a spot for her up there.

“Oh, no worries at all! Actually, my grandparents are alive—I live with my paternal grandparents, and I see my maternal grandfather sometimes. But my maternal grandmother doesn’t live here in Algeria with us; she lives in France, and I haven’t seen her in many, many years.
