My first pattern series + Poll ~~~ Vultures!!

So, I’m thinking of making my first pattern(s)
I want to make a series of vultures. I was thinking of first making small, little ‘baby’ versions that are like not extreme detail but still represent them for my first pattern, then maybe in the future I’ll make the more realistic versions.
They probably won’t be very popular patterns , because not many people like vultures…- But I do so whatever! :squinting_face_with_tongue:
Anyways, please let me know if you would be interested (I’ll probably do it either way but if people are interested, I’ll be way more motivated!)

Now, there are 23 species of vultures. 16 classified as Old world and 7 as New world.

I am not making 23 patterns.
That is too much for me, at least right now :sob:
So, I was thinking I’d do maybe 8 in total. 5 old and 3 new world. (But let me know if you think I should do it any different, I’m open to changes!)

Anyways, here are the pictures of each species! Polls will be in replies :P

I haven’t made a vulture yet and I find them fascinating. Would be interested to see them in crocheted form! Thanks for the tag!

Feel free to tag me for anything! I love cultures, I’ve only seen two species tho (the black vulture that I saw in South Carolina and the turkey vultures that I saw in the northeast of the us)

Then it’s food environment is in danger like the orangutan’s environment, palm is in so much stuff it’s causing so much deforestation that New Zealand started the orangutan alliance

I’m now also curious (I’m not gonna test it) but if the birds entire diet is stuff I’m allergic to hypothetically would eating the bird cause a reaction? I have no desire to eat a vulture and find out, I just will now ponder that question until I forget

I love vultures. My favorite is the African Hooded Vulture.

Ooo, I love the idea! I haven’t seen any volture patterns yet, and they’re quite an underrated species.
I’m really looking forward to see the patterns!

Vultures are awesome, I love this idea! Also, I totally think you should do one for all of them, eventually. It’s not like there’s a time limit, you could take a few years to finish if you wanted!

Thank you! And no problem!!

Yea I’ve only seen those as well, but I see an awful lot of them where I am lol

I didn’t know that, I’ll have to look into that, thanks!

Yea definitely don’t test that… but it is a very interesting question! I think there would be a lot of factors in that, and I don’t know much about this specific vulture species so I can’t say much but could be worth looking into!

Yess I love them too. I’m too indecisive o pick my favorite, but that is a cool one!

Yes I agree! Thank youu!!

Honestly, I might  I’ll see how this goes but then yea, I might just do it!!

Thank you! and of course! It might be some time before those tester calls happen but I’ll be sure to tag you!
