Hello. I have decided to create this topic as a personal crochet journal to see all the progress and improvements I have made. You can also share your projects to encourage us.
I started crocheting in the summer of 2022. Since then I have continued doing a few projects until now that I can’t stop crocheting. I don’t know how long the obsession will last but I have to take advantage of it to do as many projects as possible.
I want to show you my finished projects to see how I have evolved.
August 2022
This was my first project. I followed a YouTube video and had no idea what I was doing. When I was halfway through I realized I was doing the dc st wrong but I continued so as not to undo the whole thing.
Summer 2022/2023 (don’t remember when)
This was the second top I made. Also follow a YouTube tutorial. It’s so poorly made that I think I’m going to undo it and use the yarn for something else and make it a different color.
December 2022
This was the first hat I made. I also followed a YouTube video. It’s very small. I can’t get my head around it. The hem is uneven. How awful.
October 2023
I made this wizard frog keychain.

I made this Bluey bag for my little cousin. She loved it. It took so long but I am proud of it. I added an interior lining, zipper and metal buckle. I had to sew a lot of pieces.

I saw this idea from a girl on Instagram (@annamontefrancesco). She said it was inspired by a YouTube tutorial so I ran to look for it. I love it even though I don’t know how to style my hair with it. My hands hurt ever since. This is the first time I have used such a small hook. Also the first time applying the picot st (badly but once I am halfway through the project I continue the same).

I am very excited about this project. It is the first tester I have done. I love how it has turned out. It’s a summer top that I’m looking forward to wearing. First time applying some st. Very well explained. This time they went well.

Another testing. Second time using chenille yarn. I don’t like this type of yarn. But it’s a super cute penguin. It was an easy and fast proyect.

I have also done other projects but I don’t have photos. A tote bag, a hat with a pompom and everything (this time it turned out well), some earrings, bookmarks, a skeleton top and a personalized funko-style amigurumi (I have another one on the way but I’ve been putting it off for a year).
