Not sure if the suggestion has already been discussed. Sorry if it is a duplicate.
In my opinion, there is a much needed upgrade needed for our shops.
I have a habit of starting a pattern with just a name and maybe a picture to give me the reminder later when I have time. So when I look for a pattern to edit, if I go price low first, it brings up all of them also.
I think you could add a published / private option, and / or the time or date option. Like you already have in the shop manager.
Also, I think we need a search option in our shop that would have the same options.
Thanks for your consideration in this matter. @Ribblr
Yeah, I brought this up about 6 months ago.
I would like to see the same option in my shop as in my library of having one tab for published patterns and one tab for unpublished… My ideal would be one for published, one for in testing, one for in progress(for all of those still being written or place holders for ideas) once you get more than 20 patterns it gets pretty hectic.
I would also love the ability to move the thumbnails in my view. If I have to edit something and still want to keep a set together, I have to pull all the patterns in the set and edit them all then put them all back up at the same time. Sorting by age or price is fine for shopping, it is not helpful for shop maintainence
There are so many great features and filters for browsing patterns that are not available when we go to our own shops, and so many amazing features when using a pattern that are not available when editing a pattern… I would lovr to see the designer experience rise to the same excellent level of the user experience
These are great points and I agree. I don’t have too many patterns on here yet, but scrolling to the bottom of the page to find the patterns I am still writing/editing can be exhausting.
Hey @HookedByMarilyn! Just a quick update to thank you again for your suggestion. It has been prioritized and new tools are coming in the upcoming feature drop to better support shop organizaion
