Crochet ick is when I run out of yarn mid project It’s the worstttt :sob:

Tester ick is when the tester doesn’t respond :skull:

My biggest ick is when I can stick my fingers through the sts. Even if your plushie looks pretty good and tension is great. If I can stick my fingers through it drives me nuts.

Oh yes! If the tester or the person hosting the test takes too long. I understand people have lives, live in different time zones and whatnot, but taking more than a day to respond can be frustrating.

my crochet ick is when the project is taking too long :sob: my attention span is very short.

also when a pattern doesn’t have written instructions :(

my tester ick is when a tester just ghosts, or when they send a photo that’s like 3 pixels across :sob::sob:

crochet ick is if i make the project two different times but my tension was different so one is GIANT and the other is tiny :sob: tester ick as a tester is if the creator doesn’t change anything that the testers suggest.

My crochet ick is the feel of felt yarn and sometime cotton too :grimacing: after awhile I want to throw away my hands because the feeling lingers
As a tester my ick is when other testers get way way off topic. I don’t mind a small side chat within the tester group but when it devolves into just friends chatting it’s frustrating to give feedback or look at previous comments hidden between chitchat. It’s mainly when it doest pertain to crochet at all that I feel like they should probably just make a separate group chat :woman_shrugging:

Hahaha, yes to all! Especially the one about my attention span! I need that dopamine!

Oh, I’m one of the chatters. Usually, I test via Instagram with Canva, so all notes are there, but I totally get it!

I test on insta too and canva definitely has its perks with the editing/notes in there. I don’t mind some chatting especially if the testing is over because I don’t have to check in and can turn off notifications lol there’s no hard feelings or anything, it can just be frustrating in the moment  especially if I’m in the hate part of my love/hate relationship with crochet

Completely understand! That’s why I always let my testers know they can message me personally if the chat is too much.

I swear it’s sometimes a popularity contest. I’m new to actually interacting on here, but on Instagram, it’s 100% a popularity contest. So you may have one of the coolest new patterns out there, and you won’t get discovered because the popular person making a bee for the 300,000,000th time is who gets the attention. However, I am friends with quite a few of the “popular” testers, and they’re as sweet as can be. But, you know what I mean, hopefully you get seen a little bit more out here.
