Non crafty 🩰

This is definitely not craft related so if you came here for that, keep scrolling

Hi my fellow dancers, this is for ballerinas specifically

I wish this was about pointe shoes but sadly nope just regular plain ballet flats. Anyway I need HELP I have done everything I can think of to find a shoe that fits my wants/ my studio’s

So I used to wear a pair of capezio flats but now they are definitely too small to wear to class so I got a pair of Bloch flats but they are kinda big and just don’t work for dancing (for me) so I was looking for another pair but I cannot find a good replacement

(Also I tried to shrink the Bloch ones I got which helped but I’d still like a replacement)

info: studio wants/needs

  • pink/tan
  • Split sole
  • No drawstrings preferably

Things I love about my Capezios

  • split sole on the outside AND INSIDE
  • Leather but the middle sole is canvas (kinda)
  • No drawstrings

This exact model is discontinued

I’ve looked at the 2027 Juliets, Bloch Elastosplit X Leather Ballet Slipper, CG2002 ballet flat, Bloch Prolite 2 Hybrid Leather Ballet Shoes

So trust me I’ve done research, but all of these have something that I don’t like or doesn’t work with my requirements

Ignore this pls
Capezio specifics
  1. LEATHER UPPER

  2. BALANCE MAN MADE

  3. 2030H (or very close to that)

  4. LPK

  5. MADE IN BRAZIL

  6. RN 03556

this is just extra info for yall

Ballet shoe jump scare

And what I mean by split sole on the inside also: left has a internal split sole while right has only an external split sole (both technically considered split soles)

I don’t know how helpful yall can be but I would appreciate any help tysm :heart_hands:t3:

(If it’s not obvious, yes I do ballet)

Little update I will most likely be getting the Capezio Hanami Leather Ballet Shoe — Light Pink, thank you everyone!

Good luck with finding a shoe!! Ik that you said that the exact model is discontinued, but from the same brand these look pretty similar.

Good luck :+1:t3: …just coming on to wish luck even if it looks like complete gibberish as i am not a ballerina. Massive respect btw, it looks really hard.

I’m a dancer, but I don’t think I’m very helpful in this situation. I’ve really only ever used capezios, but just the fabric ones. They don’t fit all of your requirements, but I personally really like them.

I have soDanca ballet shoes because the heel platform is larger (I have a lot of heel problems :smiling_face_with_tear:) I think they might fit the requirements? I don’t know I just don’t pass up an opportunity to talk about my ballet shoes and dance

That’s interesting, I’m not sure how much I need that but I’d be willing to look at it!

I’m actually not sure because they’re just the basic ones that my studio and local dance store carry, but I’ll let you know if I see a similar or the same ones online!

Edit: I think they’re the Hanami Canvas Ballet Shoes

That’s fair, thanks!

I hope you find the right ones! I’d try to help but I stopped taking ballet a while ago, so I don’t remember my shoes. Now I take jazz and this year I’m taking musical theatre!
