Okay, question how do you store your yarn??

I once tried to make a hammock for it, but it never stays put, which is unfortunate. How do you keep the yarn ends organized and what do you put the skeins in?? :sob:

(I need help people keep yelling at me about how messy it is lol)

I bought a cheep set of cubby drawers off of Amazon and store mine like that. I used to use a laundry basket though, since that makes it easy to pull the different threads through the individual holes.

to keep the yarn ends organised i clip it with hair clips or bobby pins onto the skein, or i just poke it inside and hope it doesnt fall out, and i put my skeins in a storage box!

I store all my smaller unused skeins on a 3 tier cart, each tier holds around 28 chenille skeins from dollar tree. And I have a storage bin from dollar tree for the over flow, and it fits on the cart too.

My used skeins go in a basket on top of the cart. Then everything else that is too big or won’t fit goes into a large tote bag. Basically, I have too much yarn.

My medium weight yarn is stored in a giant storage bin (running out of room), and chunky+ yarn is stored in another bin with my felt sheets!

wrapping up the yarn into cakes might help (i did it by hand for months and it is time consuming, but helps). Just make sure to do the last few rounds tightly so you can tuck the end into those rounds.

With the yarn I’m working with, I have small organization bins, and a spinning yarn holder (christmas gift)
