One question…

Is it a good idea to announce a new crochet pattern tester call, whilst my testers are working on my current pattern? Because I might be too late for my tester call on my crocheted Valentine Bears.

I don’t see why not. I have done that before. Sometimes you have all the edits you need and you are just waiting for a few to finish.

Yeah, I just don’t wanna announce posts like this too often.

Hmm, I think the answer will be different for everyone, there’s nothing stopping you from doing that so you can if you want

Personally I would probably wait to ensure I won’t get confused and have to be working to edit/fix two patterns at the same time, and that’s not including the potential questions that may arise between the two sets of testers for the patterns, but if one is ending/the testers are almost done I would probably open another one

As for announcing posts too often, it should be good, as long as it’s not on the verge of being spammy you should be fine, I know self-promo posts less than a week apart verges on being spammy, since it’s just testing it should be okay, if you’re worried you can always consult the community guidelines or if the patterns you want tested are similar you can post the two in the same tester call saying for testers to apply to which they want to test if that makes sense

Thanks. I actually have a pattern test, in which the deadline’s tomorrow. That is, if it all goes well. So…I could announce my next tester call on that day.

Your work looks amazing :v: keep it up and good luck with your testing!

I think you should do what feels good for yourself. Since this is also a theme for which the date is fixed, I understand that you cannot/do not want to wait any longer.

All right, I’ve made up my mind. My next crochet pattern tester call will happen tomorrow! However, the deadline may be sooner than usual, but the project should be an easy one.
