you could use a old stuff animal but personally i wouldnt i would use yarn scraps or cut up a old shirt somethin like that<3

When I was out of stuffing, I used to stuff with scraps of yarn. But that was ages ago.

You can start on a giant amigurumi and stuff it later, like:

You can work on the pieces that you need to make that will need to be stuffed and have them ready for the stuffing, to sew closed, and the assemble. That is what I do when I go places that I can’t take stuffing with me but can take my crochet.
