Is there a parent GC? If so, I want in. I have no idea how to create one if there isn’t though. Not sure how many of us there are but would be nice to have a chat with people who know the struggles of crocheting with children

Well, a lot of us here on the adult space have kids, or have had kids and now have graduated to grandkids, or will have kids soon and would benefit from the struggles and advice.
I know I’m one. I’ve got kids. 11 and almost 9. Been trying to teach them to crochet when they show interest, but it’s a little hard as I’m a lefty. My 11 year old seems to be getting the hang of it finally though.
It is a bit frustrating when I finally have a minute to work on one of my projects and that’s the time they choose to ask me for help with their creations. I’ve had to just decide it’s ok that I haven’t been getting much crochet done this summer as family is first.

Same. Mine is 6 and she gave up trying to chain lol. But she’s constantly asking me what I’m making or she’ll ask if she can have it. Makes it hard to get much done. Or the interruption while counting

Found how to make one. Looks like only 10 members which sucks but if anyone does want to do one, let me know and I’ll add you

Add me please! My kids are older but it’s still hard having to drive them everywhere all the time! It never gets any easier but I would never change for anything!

I have younger kids. 1 and 4, both birthdays coming up quick! I’m not much for chats but i post/interact here in the adults group pretty often.

i think this would be a great idea! i don’t personally have kids, but it would definitely be nice to have a space where you guys can talk about the struggles you’re facing!
alternatively, if you didn’t want to limit interaction/the amount of people who could join, you could just make a post here with the title “parent struggles” and it could be a thread here (kinda like the pinned meme thread)! everyone would be able to see it, but only people part of the all grown up space could comment.

That’s actually a brilliant idea. The idea of limiting to 10 is kinda sad. wish we could create more like one of the large chat rooms like the general chat or lounge. But I like that idea.
