Mine tend to be more than 20 digits long, with alpha, numeric and special characters all blended. Sometimes you’re not allowed the special characters. I don’t think that’s right. The special characters help make passwords even more secure! IMO. I’ve been dealing with identity theft since 7/2016, so take it really seriously.

Lolll Thats a strong password lol

Oh man. identity theft, I can’t imagine what a pain that must be. Just getting a driver license in another state after you’ve lost the prior state drivers license during the move was brutal.

Truthfully I make up a phrase then just switch out numbers and symbols for some of the letters, adding in a few number combinations in between occasionally. So like Skawtsm@ma7464911wscC@aR! Scott’s mama, the initials of my first love, and the name of a hot firefighter, Carl, I read in a book once. :woman_shrugging:t2::woozy_face::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It surely sucks! I’m dealing with another fraud issue from my bank as of yesterday, AGAIN! Grrrrrr!:face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

switch banks asap!

I can’t really. Because of my identity issues and the credit issues I’m an “at risk” person. But I’m with USAA, a military bank, and they are VERY good about recovering funds without really asking questions or demanding proof. They’ve been marvelous throughout this whole ordeal, since the beginning in 2016! I changed my password, again, and do so routinely. But since AI, this year I’ve had to replace my cards almost every single month due to fraud. This month looks like it’s no exception. Sigh.

Sounds like they have a breakdown in their firewall.
