That. Is… AMAZING!! ![]()
Just to add on to my previous advice since you’re learning with a DSLR, and that’s my primary camera. I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography with 5 different certificates in various fields. I used to do wedding and boudoir photos, now I primarily work with nature. The MOST important thing you can do before learning about how to frame is learning how F-stop (aperature), ISO, exposure, and your shutter speed all work together. You can have perfect framing but if you don’t understand how all of those work in tandem with each other then your picture will be too bright, too dark, not in focus, grainy, etc etc. Once you understand how all of that works then you can move on to honing your framing.
In short.
4 most important things in the camera: ISO, F-stop, exposure, Shutter Speed.
The 3 most important things about framing. Light, Composition, and Subject.
There are hundreds if not thousands of charts and cheat sheets for all of these, not to mention videos. This is one super similar to the one they use to train Military Public Affairs Personnel.
Im teaching myself with a dlsr but then im learning in a photography class at my high school with a film camera which I am so excited about. (we even have our own baby dark room!!)
I meant to come back an add some of the photos I’ve taken over the years.
My Dogs
This last one is Foxx, he passed not long after I got my first camera and started school, so I don’t have very many pictures of him from this time. But I do cherish these that I do have.
Unfortunately, out of respect of privacy for my past clients, I can’t share the work I did for weddings and especially not boudoir lol.
The deer are so cute ![]()
Thank you for sharing!

I love your nature ones but they are very dark. Bringing up the exposure will help with that.
I love looking up youtube videos on editing and how to take photos.
Your photos are very close, so maybe backing up and getting more of the surroundings could be interesting as well.
