Pls help!

Alr so idk which space this goes in so feel free to move it around.

Oki guys my mom is forcing me to clean my room, and it is generally clean except for the piles of yarn everywhere :sob: where do u guys keep ur yarn??? I have bags and boxes but they r to small! Rn I got a big grocery bag and bin holding all hell together, as well as there being like 15 skiens on my bed. I also wanna keep the plush yarn separate from like acrylic and stuff.

Guys pls give suggestions:sob::sob::sob: and tell me where u keep ur yarn (I don’t have a big enough closet to keep it there) oh ya and I need this like asap cuz my bestie is coming over

Clear under-bed storage boxes: If there is space under the bed, she can use flat, deep plastic storage boxes (found in home organization stores). They are perfect for hiding large amounts of yarn and are easy to pull out.

Vacuum storage bags: These are amazing for plush yarn because they drastically compress the volume and protect it from dust and dirt. They can be tucked into any corner or put inside regular bags.

Hanging organizers: Shoe organizers or fabric shelf units that hang over the door or inside the closet (even if it’s small) provide great vertical storage and hold a lot of skeins neatly and visibly.

Large baskets or cute fabric laundry hampers: Instead of a random grocery bag, she can use large wicker baskets or decorative fabric bags placed in the corner of the room so they look like neat decor rather than clutter.

Temporarily separating the types: Since she wants to keep the plush yarn separate from the acrylic, she can put the plush yarn in its own sealed bag to protect it from fuzz and lint, and keep the rest of the yarn in the big basket until she finds a permanent spot.

“Have you seen the dark blue box and the light blue box? I keep my yarn in them because, unfortunately, I don’t have very much of it, and I put them in the corner above the stairs under the bookshelf.”

I think you should go through sometime and get some bins to sort by color, kind, or something else like that. Yarn storage is always a pain! I feel you:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I use crates! Also you could use some of that yarn to make a basket to store more yarn in!! Two birds with one stone lol

I got a yarn bag for my birthday and ITS AWESOME :) I sort it out every few weeks so pls don’t mind the mess hehe

And if you can’t see it correctly it’s a bag where you can put you’re yarn in and hooks on the outside as you can see :)
