Was Cinderella really perfect,
Or was it her blond silk waves?
Or those bright blue eyes
That deceived us all?
Was Cinderella really perfect?
Was she always kind to all?
Or was she just a girl,
Playing the victim?
Was Cinderella really perfect?
A gardener’s daughter,
Who pretended she was being forced,
When she had a choice to help clean or not.
Was Cinderella really perfect
When she wore those glass slippers?
Or was her whole plan,
Just to make her stepsisters jealous?
Was Cinderella really perfect?
Was her heart made of gold?
Or was it made of thorns,
As sharp as a rose bush?
They say looks can deceive,
They say the innocent holds guilt,
They say the most “perfect” person,
Is truly the most evil.
We spin the story of Cinderella,
Make her seem so innocent,
Make her seem so kind,
But is she truly?
Or is she just playing the victim?

Cinderella, Cinderella
Perfect as could be
Yet what she really did
Was steal the lives of three
She ‘slipped’ and dropped her slippers
Wish she tumbled down those stairs
Said we made her cook and clean
A devil, blond and fair
Remember when I loved you?
Us three, thick as thieves
“Friends 'till the end”
How did you make us believe?
Anastasia, Anastasia
Spilled her wine and dirtied the floor
Just to watch you clean it up
Oh, Cinderella, how your luck was poor
Anastasia, Anastasia
She deserved her gruesome fate
She tried, she tried to explain
But it was far too late
She was just a pawn
In Cinderella’s game
She cut off her own heels
Just to watch Cinderella rise to fame
Anastasia, Anastasia
Watched her sister d*e
She knew that she was next
And she began to cry
“No mercy,” Cinderella said.
Guess you can’t trust friends
Because what she did next
Sealed Anastasia’s end.
As doves pecked out my eyes
Although I couldn’t see
I knew the smirk on Cinder’s face
What happened to us three?
Was Cinderella really perfect?
Ask Anastasia, if she weren’t de@d
Drizella, maybe? Oh, she’s gone too
Cinderella doesn’t spare a few
Even if they were best of friends
“Friends 'till the end,” she said.
Until she met the charming prince
And put the sisters to bed.
So, no, she wasn’t perfect
Although she looked to be
While she danced her fairytale life
Left us in agony.

She balanced a crown atop her head,
And held her hand to him, she did.
He took her forth and down he led,
To the dance floor where they stand.
They swayed with his hand on her hip,
And round they twirled around the floor,
And down with the music they did dip,
Until the clock struck 12 and she fled out the door.
He begged her not to go, he did.
But Cinderella didn’t listen.
She ran and ran and ran and ran,
And all she left was a shoe to glisten.
Seen as a hero, seen as a star,
Little do they realize, she broke his heart.
He sat on the steps and felt so far,
Alone, he left, because she had dart.
Through the town he looked for love,
Asking girls to see if they’d fit,
He had the brains, oh, sure, of a dove,
But you had to admit, he was persistent.
And where was Cindy, where was she?
Did she look for her mate to be?
She cowered in her house and hid.
All because she ran, she did.
And when he came she cried on out,
Blamed her stepmother with no doubt.
But she was the one who fled.
What if she had stayed instead?
Was Cinderella really perfect?
Blaming others for her pain.
When she was the one who hid herself.
And nearly threw everything down the drain.
