hey. so, just wanted to let you know, there are many topics that talk about copyright, and stuff like pokemon is included in that. you have to ask for permission before you make a pattern for something, because otherwise, you’re claiming that as yours and it’s not true. please take this in consideration. people’s whole shops have been shut down over one thing like this. it may seem small, but it’s not okay.

Hi, so ik your concerned and just wanting to help but, Falcon made a post to figure out [In what I’m assuming] preparation for this collab. If something like this is copyright, and involved a Pokémon -correct me if I’m wrong -I’m gonna link one of the replies that I thought made a good point

Any way I don’t think Nintendo is going to sue us or anything because these are free patterns and we are not claiming these characters as our own. [Plus I don’t think suing mostly minors would look to good] But thanks for the concern!

Hey, I know this might be stupid, but I think I might actually want to back out of the collab. I don’t really feel good about making patterns that could be copyrighting. I’ve done it before, and I have some Pokemon crochet patterns in my shop, but I just changed my mind and decided that I don’t really want to add to it. I’m sorry!

I did make a post about copy wright but that was about me being able to copy smth amigruami without the pattern
