I use the pen grip when crocheting and the knife grip when I’m tunisian crocheting (and weirdly enough, when I crochet with the opposite hand).

so youre ambidextrous?? Did i just find another ambidextrous Lily???

No, sorry  I just taught my left how to crochet so I could do sc colour work without having to turn my work. Also my name is technically Elizabeth, Lily is just my shop name. I probably should have picked something a bit less confusing

I do use my left hand a fair amount though, but it’s woeful at writing.

I learned with knife grip, but pen grip is fun too! I’m just a little slower with it. Sometimes I also do some weird thing where I have the hook in between my fingers but also sorta a pen grip in my hand, it’s hard to explain lol
