what’s the trilogy about?

so there’s this kingdom named ilya where both of the main characters live, and there was a ‘plague’ that infected everyone and the people that survived were either granted ‘elite’ powers or they were ‘ordinary’ and had no powers. one of the main characters: girl named paedyn who is an ordinary but has to act like an elite, and boy named kai who is an elite and is sent to kill all the ordinaries. then the rest of the story happens!!
