That is a serious chonky boi
8mm
Mine has probably been a 15mm but i do have a 20 and a 30mm hook. I tend to use the 1.5mm to 3.5mm range most od the time however I’m currently working on a 2m mandala using 18 ply cottin twine and a 5mm hook
Very! I’m thinking of frogging it and redoing it because it flares out a lot at the bottom
Those are massive! Ive never seen hooks that big before
They are crazy big, aren’t they? They are Tunisian hooks, which were designed to be used to make large bulky blankets, using multiple strands of yarn. Great for stash busting.
I am doing research on crocheting cause I really want to learn for several years now and am finally taking the jump. This was so entertaining to see aha! I hope i can do well on them. I am looking to get 2 sets from 2-10mm do you think thatll be a good move? Ones without handle aluminum and ones with handles i want some big ones so I can do chenille stuffies
A 5 mm is a good hook to start with practicing on worsted weight yarn.
The largest one I have is a 10mm but I have yarn that calls for 25mm sitting about. .
I saw a 40mm at the store once, looked like a boat anchor.
