I was recently in a situation where I could’ve died, or at least just been seriously injured.
What was the situation? I’ll explain, then explain why you need to check in.
So, battery packs, phones, and other devices in relation, can become lethal if you forget to charge/use them for a while. And by “a while”, I mean months. Why? Well, the battery inside can begin to expand, and if you don’t get rid of it soon enough, it can explode.
I had a small, old battery pack next to my bed on the windowsill, and it had been months since I charged it. When I tried, I always got so frustrated because the charger I had’s port connection sucked, and just wouldn’t charge. So I forgot about it, and it began to expand. Luckily, my dad remembered this was a thing, so he checked in on the pack and it had expanded so much, that there was a huge, explosive lump in the middle. So we’re going to get rid of it. He saved my life.
Check your battery packs, and any other devices in general for this scary, explosive lump. Show your parents, and then get rid of it if you find it. Don’t throw it in the garbage. That’s not good enough, because it could be too late by the time you had planned to throw out the trash. Take it to the proper facility, and have it safely apprehended.
That’s so scary! I’m not home right now but as soon I will arrive back I will need to check my old phone’s battery which I didn’t charge for a long time
