Answer: Tbh I only found out about ribblr because of a dinosaur pattern I was interested in. But then I saw how many amazing patterns it had and the community really drew me in. :)

Answer: I chose Ribblr as my crochet platform because of the great designers and patterns available. I hadn’t known at the time of downloading the app, but there was a great community that was here in plain sight. After gaining confidence to finally go on the community, i had finally found my crafting space. Ribblr! The platform with the best fiber artists on earth! This platform let me expand my skills and knowledge of crochet, along with meeting new great people who had the same interests as me!

Answer: I use ribblr because of the cute patterns on here! There are many cute and free patterns on here that I couldn’t easily find anywhere else but are on ribblr. The community tab is also cool and it’s nice to connect with other crafters (but I don’t really talk that much on ribblr lol)

Answer: I was researching about different websites with patterns and found so many cute ones here! I also later on found the community tab and it’s cool to be able to talk about crafting and not crafting topics. It also is cool to see how everyone connects with each other and supports one another.

Answer: I didn’t initially think I would be staying with Ribblr at first, I was just pretty bored and searched for “crochet” in the app store. I got disappointed by many of the apps — a lot of them used or even promoted AI, or had a hard-to-use interface, which is personally important to me. I was then intrigued by Ribblr’s nicely designed logo and installed it, made an account, and thought that it seemed pretty decent. Ribblr hooked me in because of certain fun features such as freebies and community posts, but I think what really got me to stay on Ribblr long-term was the awesome community full of kind people. :) It is incredibly easy to make friends on Ribblr, and most importantly, friends who really do care about you. General Chat may be chaotic sometimes, but everyone there is practically just one big loving friendship group! :D

Answer: I chose ribblr because I wanted to find community and other apps just weren’t working for me. I tried one and it was only patterns made by the app creators. Finding ribblr was a shock of wonder, patterns made by real humans all unique, a community page to interact with others like me, and a section where I could even run my own shop. This app is my favorite thing on my phone and I want to support it forever

Answer: I chose ribblr as my crocheting app because I liked the social media aspect of it and I need a place to hang out with crocheters like me. I’m a teenager so I often get called old or grandma for crocheting ![]()

Answer: Thank u for having me here Pandaaaa
So I actually found Ribblr on a post on Pinterest hehehehehe
It was a random day and I was really tired, it was just a girl that was saying that Ribblr is THE BEST CROCHET PLATFORM EVER so that evening I just asked my mum if I could download it :)
She usually searches everything about an app before approving my download but that time she didn’t ask any questions ![]()
Maybe it was just a sign that I was ment to be here ![]()
Thanks so much for having me here again!

Comics: by @kallaway007 @Bomthecrocheter and @stargirlcancrochet !!
person of the paper: by @Raecrochets2 !!
Rae: Hello! For this week’s Person of the Paper section, we have picked @cr0chetdrag0n ! Fey, here is the first question! What got you into crochet, and what moved you to join Ribblr?
Fey: I originally began crocheting around age 5! My mom is a big crocheter, and I always wanted to learn. My first projects were a few chains, and I was so proud of them! When I was about seven, I began to crochet a scarf. To this day, it is still unfinished and will probably stay that way
(Photo attached at the bottom)
Rae: That’s so cool! I bet we always have that one unfinished project that we still have from when we started! Next question! What is your favorite kind of fiber arts and what kind of things do you craft? (ex. Stuffies, wearables, etc.)
Fey: My favorite kind of fiber art is definitely crochet, as it’s the only one I know how to do! I’ve really fallen in love with it, and crochet, coffee, and Jesus are how I’m still here today. ![]()
My favorite thing to make is definitely amigurumi! In specific, dragons! Anyone who knows me definitely knows I love dragons :3. I’ve tried to make clothes before, but, well, let’s just say that’s a WIP that I don’t think is ever going to be finished! I see all these cute crochet shirts and shrugs and shawls and sweaters (ooo alliteration) and want to make them, but I don’t have the patience.
Amigurumi is the way to go! Also…I do have a strawberry dinosaur pattern int the works
we need to fill up my shop some more!
Rae: That’s so cool! We will totally look out for your dino! Moving on to the next question! What advice would you give to beginners?
Fey: Mostly just don’t give up! I know that sometimes it can be really rough to crochet or any other fiber art, with the combination of carpal tunnel and wondering what others think and feeling bad about your own work. I’ve been through that myself! But just keep pushing, and you’ll make it through! It’s cool to look back on your old projects and see how much you’ve improved. Also, don’t compare yourself to others! So many people I know have quit things, not necessarily fiber arts, but other forms of art because they compare themselves to others. Please don’t do that, coming from someone who struggles with that herself! I know all y’all got this and I believe in you!!
Rae: Great advice! I believe experienced crocheters might want to remember this too! Now, we all have our favorite designers, who are some of yours?
Fey: Haha, don’t make me decide that! I can’t pick a favorite! But some of my favs are ArielC CrochetGirly4ever LOTR0099 MadebyEllie SkeinsofGrace MysticalCr0chet ! Go check them ALL out!!
Rae: I agree, all of them are awesome! Now that we are wrapping up, what are some socials we can find you on?
Fey: Well, I am a very special crocheter! I am an
exclusive
only on Ribblr designer! So yeah! Go check out my shop! I’ll be posting some of my old feyra patters and a new one soon! Also thank y’all so much for choosing me as the PoP! I’ve wanted to do this for a long time and was so excited when I saw this PM! So thank you so much ![]()
Rae: Thank you for talking with us!
Ty all so much for reading and apologies for how late it is!!
