Iām taking over for Fairy this week as she was camping with Crow :)
Without further ado!
Survey by @Bomthecrocheter and @Cosmo4
This weeks survey question was: what is your go-to thing to bring on a long car ride?
āI bring usually bring nothing with me. I like to enjoy the scenery, and take pictures if I can, even if its just going to the city, the building here are huge!ā -Francat
"I normally choose a pillow and my yarn, but I also take my favorite blanket and my phone. I take a pillow so I can sit in the car and stretch across the backseat and not be uncomfortable leaning against the door. I cover up in my blanket and get cozy and start crocheting - Bigstickgear
ā1: IPad 2: crochet stuff 3: my dog 4:snack, I like to bring my iPad because I can do a lot of things on it. I love to bring crochet along since well car rides are ridiculously bring. my dog? well shes the goofiest lill puppy ever lol. and whatās a long car ride without snackies? NOT A LONG CAR RIDEEE!ā -annabananacrochet
āso my go to thing to pack on a long ride is about 5 different skeins or yarn
, a whole bag of stuffing, 3 crochet hooks, 2 other books, a pillow and a blanket. I usually pack so much yarn because I never know what I want to crochet. I pack a lot of stuffing because I could be making a really big thing without knowing it. I bring the crochet books for inspo or if Iām out of it, just for the pattern lol, Iām also a really fast reader so I bring 2 just in case. I bring a pillow because crochet hurts my back. and a blanket because my family makes it super coldā - brayslay4
āAnd my SDITās toys, treats, water, (food if itās a long trip), gear, her car-seat with seatbelt, yarn for a few WIPs depending on the length of the ride, and sketch book, my own pens cause of my allergies, medication no matter the length. And maybe more depending on if I am getting out or staying in the car and where the destination is. Iām an adult who canāt drive due to medical issues so I can always do something during a tripā -Annakaite
āI always bring lots of yarn and a couple books! I always try to crochet as much as possible on long car rides, and I really enjoy reading! luckily, I donāt get car sick:)ā -craftychicken
āI always pack some crochet stuff when Iām traveling if Iām allowed lol and also my tablet and kindle if weāre going somewhere far away. I once brought a plushie to one of my travels before but unfortunately it was confiscated
ā -sugarSTUDIO
āyarn and crochet hooksā -Lilcrochet14
āI would say a good book and yarnā :heart_handst2: because I would be bored without themā -crochetingunicorn

Person of the paper run by me and @bunny04
This weeks pop was @LoAndBehold!
Us- Hello @LoAndBehold, youāve been selected for person of the paper! Why donāt you tell us a bit about yourself?
Iām a teenage girl who lives in the UK and I have a Cheagle named Coco! I love to listen to Katseye and I will be an EYEKON forever. I have been crocheting for around 3½ years now, starting with my auntie teaching me how to chain.
Us- What are some of your favourite crafts, or hobbies to do when youāre bored?
well obviously crochet, but I also love to do sewing, needle felting, reading and birdwatching!
Us- How did you find out about crocheting, and what hooked you?
So, when I was around 9 I went to stay with my auntie for a week and she was crocheting ALL the time, as she had a business. I always watched in fascination and eventually I asked her to teach me! It just looked so satisfying and creative, and I just HAD to try it!
Us- Do you have any pictures youād like to share? Also, do you have any pets, and if so what type?
Here are some pictures of crochet things Iāve made;
And on the pet thing, yes, I have a Cheagle (chihuahua/beagle) called Coco! We adopted him from Mexico last year, and heās settled in perfectly in the UK.
Us- Whatās your first project compared to your latest?
I donāt have a photo of my first project but it was a horrible little ācollarā for my grandmaās dog, it genuinely looked like something someone had pulled out of the rubbish!
My latest project is my Beach Buddies collection ~
(I have to make a few more)
Thank you so much LoAndBehold! Make sure to check out her shop!
Thank you so much everyone!!
