(Tw: loss)(not looking for I’m sorries but if you also need to vent drop it here. We all need to get things off our chests sometimes.)

Lately it’s been tough in November I lost my 18 year old kitty suddenly he took such good care of me for the entire time and then February my fiancé lost our 24 year old kitty and were told we had to move out of our apartment it hasn’t been updated in 10+ years and now the landlord is trying to say we damaged it and we have to take a lot of legal action against him which sucks right now.

so I 33 moved into my parents apartment they have in the basement (I’m not ashamed of this the economy is awful and I was honestly so excited to craft with my mom who was a perfectionist in every single way whether it be knit sew quilting embroidery etc)

A few days after we moved into the apartment my mom suffered a severe heart attack, they found multiple complications and we had to let her go Monday.

got blocked by a pattern creator I was testing for a day after due date while mom was in icu (my fault but also day mother passed I wanted to explain what was going on) and I’m feeling pretty down. I’m trying to be positive though. I’m hoping I can find a way to contact her otherwise and maybe pay for the pattern to makeup for my time management

POSITIVE: My mother asked me to make her a crochet vest. I wasn’t confident enough when she drafted the idea to me in the skill to make it so she would wear it but now I am. She may be gone but I may make it my first official pattern in her honour.

I also wanna be clear I completed the test I just haven’t submitted nice photos yet just initial photos that aren’t super beautiful like everyone else’s I feel so guilty for not saying anything sooner and always do my best to be a great tester people would want on their team and I highly respect the designers effort and that of the rest of the testing team.

Im so sorry that happened. I know losing a family member really hurts, especially a parent. Wishing you the best of luck in the future

I know things are hard right now, and “I hope you feel better soon” and “everything will be ok” don’t really help (I know from experience) but I genuinely want to say, stay strong.
