Okay lovely Ribbot army, so I really want to dress in this style (see below image) and need help knowing where to find stuff. I know places like American Eagle, Altr’d State, Aeropostle, holister, target, and thrifting are good. Anywhere else? Also do you have any thrifting tips and tricks? I have an uptown cheapstake near me and goodwill and platos closet but I dont know if they will carry clothes like this. Thanks so much!!!

Garage has a lot of grungy stuff like that, and H&M , affordable and you can find some gems there like cargos and big jeans. Also def recommend Ardene as well!! Good luck!! <33

Just go. They carry whatever they get donated so just keep an eye out for the stuff you like. Plato’s closet is most likely to have the type of stuff you want but it will be about double the price of the other two

Thrifting tips as someone who grew up thrifting for fun
- a lot of stores restock either on Wednesday or over the weekend
- best time to go is around when they open or a few hours later
- do NOT look at every single peice you find (only gravitate towards pieces with colors that you’re interested in or materials that you like to avoid wasting time)
- if ur unsure if you like something pick it up anyways, you can always try it on to decide
- if someone’s already at the rack u wanna go to I reccomend going to the rack anyways, ppl are normally rly chill
- if you’re looking for a specific brand , ask if they have any of that brand (some places have everything recorded in their system where they can just look it up)
- definitely check the men’s, women’s, AND kids, I’ve found more stuff in the men’s more times than not personally
That’s ab it!!🫶🏻 Have funnnn
Edit: also keep an eye out for garage sales, I’ve found cute stuff this way aswell!

Do you have a Ross or TJ Maxx near you or a Gabes/Gabriels ? They carry a lot of overstock, seconds, ect for more affordable prices.

when thrifing, look through e v e r y t h i n g. even if its not your size. because people misplace things all the time! also, especially for shirts, look at moth gender clothings. oh! and diy some stuff- learning to sew will go a long way. hope this helps :]

Sometimes Torrid has some really cute stuff like this, they’re plus size from size 10-30.
Otherwise this screams Earthbound to me. And Ragstock.
