And I usually get my yarn from Miachels but soon I shall be moving so that will not be convinient
I would love if there was chenille yarn of maybe a fuzzy yarn for beginners?
as for colors I think having the colors of the rainbow and maybe some other shades
also, since Im also not located in the USA I second the idea of shipping it internationaly
ty for your feedback - super valuable ![]()
I would agree about shipping to places outside the us because I am moving to another country
No problem! I also want to thank you for being so engaging ![]()
i currently get mine from michaelās, and ever since they become some of the only brands in my area that sell yarn, the prices have skyrocketedā¦and the quality isnāt great, the chenille yarn is always ānot softā or āstickyā (i genuinely have no idea how to describe that, but the feeling of āoldā) and theyre always expensive
Yarn prices are very VeRy high at Michaelās and the yarn quality is going down down and down because it is no longer made with human hands.
This is a wonderful idea I would love to have high quality yarn with prices that are not very high. I think a mint blue color worsted weight yarn maybe cotton or something natural with little fraying would look great and feel great! :D
I would LOVE Ribblr yarn only if itās not only online and it can be in-store lol
Yes yarn quality has become less and less overtime which sadly makes us crafters not want the yarn (at least for me)
interesting! do you prefer to shop in-store?
Yes please cause sometimes websites donāt ship to Canada:/ (most of the time)
i know this wasnt directed to me, but personally, yes. i like to feel the yarn if itās a new brand, and actually see the colors bad michaelās experience with colorsā¦
@lir you could add a search bar and type a yarn color and you can see all the pattern that used the same color it will be super easy to find cute pattern that uses the same yarn you used
yes because you could feel the yarn
What a wonderful idea! I would love a yarn that was of good quality, large color range, and that would provide that yarn kind for 10 years or more instead of changing every season.
Iād like to see either non pilling acrylic or a 50/50 cotton/acrylic blend of worsted weight.
I get most of my yarn from Premier Yarns. The acrylic is soft, large color range, (80 plus colors ), doesnāt split or break easily, and is a fabulous deal when on sale.
Iām very very excited that they came out with a worsted weight cotton /acrylic blend! Itās less expensive than all the other cotton/acrylic blends Iāve researched. Limited color range right now but expect other colors to be added. If is soft, doesnāt break easy, but can split if you frog the same section of yarn repeatedly. This yarn is perfect for Amigurumi!
I also love Universal Yarn but that is for when I can afford it Cotton supreme, Bamboo pop,
Iāve tried multiple companies and I hate them all: Michaels ( over priced crap), knit picks, cascade, Furls Wander ( the splitting drives me bananas), ( ugh scratchy and ugly) Hobbi ( too expensive for such thin yarn, Lion brand ( the worst), Nova, stylecraft, color crafter, Caron ( omg so splitty), Hayfield, bernat, red heart, Paton, Peaches and CreamLily sugar and cream, Schjeepes, Rowan, yarns by Crochet me, cygnet
By the way I hate whatever way you have for editing the fields when posting.
I agree with this statement because I like looking at colors to see if they actually look the way I think they do
Yah it would be great if the yarn could be in a store like hobby lobby.
ooh I got another idea! what if you made this very think yarn with like many different colors stacked onto one thread if you get what I mean
Would outside the u.s stores be an option ?
Yes! I may not be able to buy it right away, but Iād love to see quality, affordable yarn made by crafters! I will say that if the yarn can be found in in-person stores, it will be more accessible for me
