I won’t vote since I’m in both the yes and no category. Right now I’m working through my stash that I got from Michaels/a local maker/a yard sale! It would be cool to see a Ribblr yarn but I’m unsure how it could be made unique than Ribblr purple :thinking:

If it’s sent from the EU I might be interested. Shipping from the UK might be possible, but many stores doesn’t do that because of… complications! :confused: Shipping from the US is out of the question! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I’ve seen several internet stores go under recently. Mayflower bankrupt, Hobbii are laying off plenty of staff (and the AI debacle, they are not alone but they handled it badly, others might need a backlash too :thinking:). I’m worried that other stores like Lindehobby, Rito and others risk going the same way! :thinking::flushed_face: I’ve checked a couple of German stores, and even Ice in Turkey, but haven’t been able to buy anything yet.

Honestly, I just buy the cheapest yarn I can find. If Ribblr yarn was comparable in price, maybe! I’m content with my thrift finds for the most part. :relieved_face:

yes PLEASE!!! After hobbii’s…uhh….comments and Joann shutting down, I need a good place to get affordable yarn. Michaels carries the big twist now and that’s great, except the prices are so high…

I think having Ribblr yarn could be interesting. There’s a lot of people on the app that could provide likes and dislikes with the yarn currently on the market.

Yes I would love this I’m in the UK I used to use hobbii a lot for yarn. But I’m now exploring new suppliers.

I tend to make wearables so I use cotton mixes, purr cotton or a wool mix and sometimes acrylic.

I think this would be a great idea as it would fill a space in the market. A lot of creatives are fed up with companies using ai and selling out to private equity. That seems to go hand in hand with lowering quality

Yes please! I sell my crochet and sewing items at a local bakery and ever since Jo-Ann’s closed it’s been super hard to find durable but not super expensive yarn. I’ve been able to get some cheap yarn from Amazon but it’s not anywhere near the quality I used to have. I would be so thrilled to have good quality yarn made by the people here who care! Please help us who do sell our pieces!

I’m also up for trying yarn if it ever comes to that! :wink:

I mainly use cotton and cotton blends such as cotton/linen (cotton/silk are rare to find) and I’d really like to try a cotton/hemp mix! :blush:

Sometimes I use acrylic and wool, mostly alpacka! :blush:
