This is why foundation crochet is so useful There are many YouTube videos on it. I learned it in person in a workshop many years ago

Hahaha!! If at all possible, I always use foundation crochet instead. I know for some things you just can’t, but……! I also use stitch markers every 25 stitches so I don’t have to keep counting back. I double check, then PM, crochet more, PM, etc.
