we got a lot this time thank u!!
One day, in the cafeteria, I noticed a mirror. I looked at it and saw myself. I had bags under my eyes, and they were very droopy. My skin was a grayish greenish color and I was so dirty and my hair was so oily.
I didn’t think much of it, because a lunch lady came and gave me another bowl of food. This time it just looked like gray mush. I ate it with gusto, because that’s what it always looked like. Always.
I felt the urge to walk, so I went out with the crowd and walked. And then I collapsed. Five people tripped over me. I couldn’t be on the floor! I needed to walk!
I then forced myself up and stumbled along. After about, 5 stairs up to, hmmm……. I don’t remember…. The balcony??, I collapsed again. I had no strength left in my legs to walk. But they still needed to walk. They itched to walk. I got on my hands and army-crawled up the steps. And oh, I was right. The balcony. I turned myself onto my back. And saw the sky for the first time in what, weeks? Months? I couldn’t tell you.
And then I suddenly remembered Chase! He must be going crazy. But I need to walk. He’s not important right now. I had no strength left in my body, yet I kept trying. I need to walk. I grabbed at the slippery marble floor and did my best to pull myself forward, not noticing that I tripped many people. I need to walk. And when I couldn’t lift my arms, my legs, and my face, I think I gave up. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t walk. So I closed my eyes and waited. And waited. And waited.

I could feel myself wasting away. Then I felt no ground beneath me. Finally, someone rescued me! Wait. Someone rescued me? Someone kidnapped me from that wonderful place! Let me go back! Let me go walk! I tried my hardest to fight, which wasn’t hard at all. I couldn’t fight, I couldn’t move, I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t even lift my eyelids. Then I felt myself falling. Down, down, down. I didn’t scream. How could I? I lost my voice trying to walk. And then something caught me. It laid me down onto something. And I lost awareness.

Cool! I felt like that last night. I stayed up till 12:30 w days ago and i had to get up early the next morning and now ladt night i was atill up at 2:00 am! So i was tired

I don’t know how long it was but, I woke up to Chase looking down on me. I was surprised and tried to sit up but failed. My arms shook and I fell and hit my head.
“Owwww…” I said as I rubbed the back of my head.
“Don’t try to get up. You’re still weak.”
“What…”
“She fooled you. The woman you met outside the house. Had I not saved you, the flying tigers or, the Qiongqi, would have delivered you to Ao Yin.”
I sat back taking in everything. How could I have fallen for that?
“Don’t beat yourself up. Nothing here is as it seems. But now it’s time for you to rest.”
He put his paw on my chest, as if to emphasize the point. Then he circled and laid down against me, almost as if he was nurturing me with his warmth. And to be honest, it felt like he was…
