Tester call for Crochet: 2-in-1 No-Sew Egg and Sprout Chicks Crochet Pattern

Hi guys!! I need testers for my egg and sprout chicks! Both patterns are no-sew and work up in less than an hour!

Due Date: March 30th
Please only apply if you’re able to finish on time, and pleaseee let me know if you want to opt out of testing! If you have not completed the journal (with a picture) by the due date with no explanation, I will have to assume that you no longer want to test the pattern and remove you :(

Additional Requirements:
:yarn: Please use suitable colors!

:camera: Please make a journal with at least one good picture in it (good lighting + clear/uncluttered background). I especially love natural lighting/outdoor pics :D The quality of your photos WILL affect whether you will be chosen.

  • I may also use photos for promotional purposes, so let me know if you don’t want your picture included. Thanks!

:envelope: Use the group chat to discuss any concerns, feedback, or things you’re confused about. Let me know about errors/suggestions in the group chat—not in the final journal please!

:speech_balloon: Comment what yarn you would use and which chick you want to test (or both if you want)!

(Note: if you don’t have any makes on Ribblr yet, please attach at least one picture of your make(s))

Thank you! :)

I’ll be picking testers within 2 days.

I’d love to test the Sprout chick! I would test with acrylic yarn in the same colors as you did (maybe different shades) and a 3mm hook. About the photo quality part, my phones camera is not very good but I can use the following backgrounds:
-Leaves
-brick walll
-White wall
-Green ish wall (like the photo on my jam jar cover pattern)
-Grey tiles

Each one will have natural lighting

I’m with @Craftsrme67, I love interactive projects. I’d make the egg chick as I’m curious how you got the scalloped edge to close so well.

With my size 5 yarn and 4.0 mm hook.

These are absolutely adorable, I need to test them! I would love to test both in the same colors as you but use pink for the pot on the sprout chick. I will be using chenille yarn and a 5mm hook. I also wouldn’t mind if you used my pictures <3

Either of these would be cute to test. I like the sprout the best. Using plush med 5 yarn with 4.5 mm hook. Thanks!

I would love to test the sprout chick! I will use chenille yarn in yellow for the chick and green for the sprout, but is it okay if I use purple and blue for the pot part? I will also use a 3.5mm hook

Omg they are so CUTE!!! I’d love to test the egg chick with size 6 yarn and 3mm hook. Glwt!!

Hello again :waving_hand:t2: I think you’re familiar with my work by now  I did just recently get my hands on some thin Chenille yarn, so if you pick me for the white chick I can do a tiny one (2.5mm) or a large one (7mm) or a regular sized one (4mm). I can only make the brown one with a 4mm hook though, only have 1 shade of brown in the super Chunky yarn . Your patterns are so fun and interesting to make, can’t wait to make more of them hehe
