Testing suggestions

I would like to start testing but I’m still pretty new to ribler and don’t know much. if you have any suggestions of like the basic steps that would be much appreciated c

Testing is a lot of fun.
Here are a few tips to help anyone who is new:

1. Finish by or before due date
2. Press the photo to apply
3. Follow ALL requirements
4. Be active in group chat
5. DO NOT ghost
6. Make a journal
7. Let the person in charge know you have finished

You will know if you have been approved to test if you see a message and if you see the pattern under your Testing Tab.

So- what’s a journal?

A journal is a review of a published pattern, if it’s public. It’s often times asked of testers by designers and if not clarified I would ask if they want progress photos/notes while you test or if a final photo/note is enough for the test. It’s very important to remember that this is public once the pattern is published so it should not contain any part of the pattern or mistakes/notes/etc you found/had during the testing phase as those are solely meant for the designer during the testing phase…

Journals for pattern testing?

I’ve been seeing a lot of pattern testing posts that require you to create a journal, but haven’t been able to find any examples of such journals. Could anyone point me to some resources showing what they’re like? I want to rest patterns but don’t want to apply when I’ve never created a journal before.
