When you’re testing a pattern how do you mark that you’ve completed it because I’m showing as being overdue with my project and I finished it before the due date
If you made a journal the person who let you test can see that you are done and then you can send them a message that you made it. After that they gift you the pattern
Thank you
what do you have to do for a journal to test? just updates on your project? comments on the pattern?
It may depend on the designer you’re testing for, but generally they want a pic and how easy it was to follow. They typically do not want any comments about things that need fixed in the testing process because it should get fixed in the process and the note in the journal may make people less likely to buy the pattern after it is made public. The designer you test for may have further details.
thank you so much!
I’d love to be a tester! I already do them on the gram but this seems so much better and safer for everyone.
Hi @Lavishlittleloops to be a tester feel free to visit the Testing zone and apply either by clicking the link in a photo, the link or in the comments depending on how the designer has set it up, of course make sure to look at the requirements and if the tester call is still open, happy crafting ![]()
I’m Bobbie, I have been crocheting since I was 5 years old, but I won’t bore yall with my trials, frustration, and many errors, unless you want me to.
I would absolutely love to be a tester.

I would love to test patterns! I don’t have much patience so please don’t send me blankets or wearables, I mainly do amigurumi or accessories like scrunchies. Thank you! ![]()

Hi, I am new to the tester community, and I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to be respectful and be a good tester.
Hello and welcome to the community!
Here are some tips I think everyone should know:
- Follow all requirements in the Tester Call Message
- Do not ghost
- Don’t say anything rude or inappropriate in a group chat or journal
- Give updates
- Try not to apply if you know you probably can’t finish by the due date
- Be respectful
If you are interested i have 2 tester call out for testing. I would love for you to try them out for me. You can press the purple down below. The purple down below are both links.
Thank you for that information! I would test those patterns, but I have already applied for another pattern, and I don’t want to get overwhelmed. Thank you for the offer and I wish you luck with your patterns!!
I’m back available for testing
