So I’ve been wondering and this is mainly out of curiosity but does anyone have heterochromia? (1 eye colour different to the other) Cause I’m writing a small novel and the main character has it
I dont![]()
Not me!
I don’t, but a friend of mine does! Their eyes are mostly blue with a big spot of hazel in their right eye.
I don’t but Tammi from Crafty Mompreneur does. Here’s a link to her youtube channel. Maybe it’ll be helpful.
My son has one very light brown eye and one very dark brown eye. It is very obvious, but most people do not notice because of his glasses.
I had a friend in grade school who had one green and one brown.
I don’t but I do have another thing where the inside color in my eye is a different color than the outside. That’s why I always get answers on whether or not my eyes are blue or green.
My older cousin has, his left if green and his right is blue but it’s hard to tell unless he is tired its more visible
I don’t have it and no one I know does, but I heard it’s pretty rare and I think it’s super cool!
I don’t but I do have partial vitiligo! If you have a character like that I can help
Nope, I’m actually the unique one in my family (to be clear no one has heterochromia in my family) but everyone has eyes with multiple shades or colors, except me, I’m the only one with brown eyes
, parents got hazel green (and one brother) 2 brothers & 2 sisters got blue, grandparents got green and blue on one side, and at least the one I met on the other side got green, the other is a step grandparent so doesn’t apply genetically, doing research on eye color is awesome now that they finally started to catch up, I remember being 8 and telling my parents they had green brown eyes and them trying to explain that wasn’t possible and it had to be blue brown even though it looked green, because that’s what medical doctors thought about eye color genetics at the time, but I saw my family and our eyes and knew the doctors were missing something, and only recently did they publish articles agreeing with what I already knew, it’s cool now that they know more about eyes and the genetics to read the research, funny for me too since I figured it out at 8 long before the doctors because my family existed and no one is not genetically related
WAIT YOU HAVE BLUE-GREEN HAZEL (not sure if you still call that hazel since it’s not part brown) BUT ANYWAY THATS AWESOME HAVING BLUE-GREEN PATTERNING SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
I am actually so surprised no one related to me has this. Lol. (At least no one that I know, I have some parts of my family, cousins, aunts, uncles, ect, that I don’t know) But in the group that I know, 90% of us have very blue eyes, quite a few of us have red hair (my hair is honey blonde, but the ends are redder as it gets towards the root, so when I tried to turn some of my cut hair into clip in bangs, the color was totally off.
) but I have a cousin who was born with extra toes, and a cousin born with webbed toes. Also we carry a genetic defect called MCAD and it is supposed to be pretty rare. My mom says if it is rare, we have most of it. Lol.
My sister has super light, ice blue eyes, and her husband has darker, strikingly blue eyes, and quite a few of their kids have eyes that are super dark blue on the outside, and super light blue on the inside. It is crazy beautiful.
So I guess I don’t know anyone with different colored eyes, unless dogs and horses count. Lol.
I actually do have sectoral heterochromia! My eyes are green, but my left eye has a big brown part. It’s hard to get a good picture, but this is what it looks like.
My cousin has matching eyes, and also my doctor, weirdly enough. I’ve also met a teacher at my school who has really pretty heterochromia.
I have this random ik where I don’t like touching wet metal, Like I will through up and I have before and do yall know thoughs thing that like change picture when you look at it at a different angle, Yeah that to idk why I just do!!!
no i don’t! but i know some ppl who write there oc’s with it and maybe i can refer you to them
