Hiii guyssss today i am going to my first concert and i was wondering if yall had any tips for it :3
Ooh who’s playing?? I would recommend bringing a sweatshirt, money for merch, and a water (if they allow that at the place it’s held!) I went to a concert last April for Forrest frank and it was sooooo awesome!!! I hope you have an incredible time!!!
Im going to a phil whickam concerttt
I love his music!!! What’s your favorite song by him?
I LOVE Phil Whickham!! I went to one of his concerts last December!! Just worship! Have a good time and worship!!
He’s great sometimes depending on where you’re sitting/standing you may want ear plugs if you have sensitive ears!
Is it a choir or just you? I only have choir tips but here they are:
So I’ve had great teachers and this is mostly their advice with some of mine mixed in.
- Posture: I imagine a fishing line tied to the top of my head and imagine pulling it up as high as I can, roll shoulders back 3 times, feet shoulder-length apart, slightly bend one knee- NO NOT LOCK KNEES!!
- Languages: I recently had to sing a song in Latin and forgot one part so if you’re in a large choir just mount the word “watermelon” I promise you nobody in the audience will tell
- I beg of you don’t wear heels or wedges or anything like that. Choose your most comfy shoes that still look nice. Made that mistake a few too many times.
- Focus: I’ve been in some rough (behavior wise) groups and o find it hard to focus with too many things happening around me so I just try my best to drown them out and only think about lyrics
- EYE CONTACT: omg it’s so hard for me but I had a teacher explain it. When preforming for an audience, don’t look at people you know, you might laugh. Don’t look at strangers, that’s awkward. Look at the back wall or something near the back of the audience that’s not like on the ceiling.
Hope atleast some of this helps
I just realized it’s not you preforming
don’t mind my other reply
Here are some tips that i learned from going to my first concert in February:
1.If you will be standing at the concert i would totally suggest wearing really good shoes like tennis shoes. Because your feet will hurt after a while.
2.if you have any, bring earplugs. It can get really loud at concerts, and earplugs help out a lot. Foam ones work great :)
3. Charge your phone before you go. If you’ll be taking lots of photos and videos it would be helpful to charge your phone before so your phone doesn’t die
Hope these helped :)
Ooooo he’s great! Get ready for you voice to be sore afterwards lol
I just love his music!!! I hope you have a wonderful time ![]()
