Tips and tricks!

Hey guys! What if we share some tips for crochet that some people may not know but would find helpful? Anything works!

Tip: My biggest tip in amigurumi is probably using the invisible decrease when working in rounds. However another amigurumi tip is instead of working the 1st round into the magic ring(ex:6sc in Mr), you could do the second round in the magic ring(ex:12sc in magic ring) it helps it be less pointy. This does not work with every project. It depends on the project so try doing it the written way 1st before doing this. Sometimes yarn changes things.

Great idea! My tip is that Ribblr currently has a post asking for tips too, and if you put your tip there, you might get a gem.

My tip is to check if the pattern uses yarn over or under. It can change the end result if mid row colour changes are involved, and affect placement of appendages in some no-sew patterns.

Another tip is if crocheting around a base chain, working into the 3rd loops behind the chain will avoid creating those little holes in the centre.
