I’ve been dealing with insomnia for some time now, and it sucks :[ Usually it’s not that of a problem since I can function enough on little to no sleep, but these days I REALLY. CAN’T. JUST NOT SLEEP. For several inner and outer reasons. Today was already trashy cuz last night I didn’t slept at all, last week wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t good either, and if it continues like this for some more days I’ll crash out.
So, does any of u guys have any tips that helped you to battle it and sleep some?? Thanks in advance!! <3

I fall asleep to meditations!! They really help
uhhh, i like warm milk lol
When I have anxiety attacks in the middle of the night and can’t sleep I listen to one of the following:
ASMR -doesn’t work for anyone but helps me a bit
Listening to peppa pig episodes on Spotify- trust me this is so relaxing
Scroll through relaxing videos for 10 min -PUT ON A TIMER OR UR GONNA SCROLL TILL MIDNIGHT
To help me calm down my therapist said to do muscle relaxation and deep breathing- you tighten your muscles then relax them while doing box breathing- il show u a pic of that. Don’t know if it helps u to go to sleep but helps with relaxation
I like to listen to long classical music soundtracks, like The Nutcracker or Swan Lake ballets.
anxiety has kept me up a lot of nights recently but heres what ive found works!
- if you have one, a weighted blanket does WONDERS. it forces you to stop wiggling around and is super calming. unfourtunately if you dont have one they are kind of expensive
- i hold on to a large plush at night! i had a cow that i crocheted that i used but i bought a really firm mimikyu that ive been using. if you have anxiety, this is also a great one!
- if you have a music service without ads, try turning on a deep sleep playlist and focus on the music
- journaling. write down everything you think of to exhaustion. this is usually a last-ditch effort for me, but it does work
and thats it! i do have more tips, but these are the ones i use most often. hope it helps! <3

As someone who has had insomnia since I was 2 I find that it really depends on the night. Sometimes reading my kindle helps. Sometimes just lying down and thinking about something that’s on my mind helps.

Yeah -_-’ that’s why I wanted to know what u guys do, so I have more tools on my belt heh :3 For me, I think the biggest problem is my never ending thinking ówò and not everything can make me stop .^.
