Gurl! stop making stuff and give it a complete REST! Before it turns into something semi permanent or permanent.
EVERYONE can just wait!

Yes, and put heat to the area if painful. And let it rest for at least a month.
Then see how if goes, that is if pain has gone completely away on rest.
Yes! A month!
I would and have rested for a month before. I’m not losing my ability to crochet, it’s my alternative to insanity.

Well, you could organize your yarn/your patterns, made a priority list of patterns YOU want to make for YOU!
Go scrolling pattern libraries, look for color palettes you really like, inventory your yarn, wind up cakes ( slowly).
Watch some crochet blogs on You Tube, find some that gel with you, read a crochet mystery book, learn about different fibers of yarn and what projects work best with a given fiber.
Look up info on various Craft Ysrn Councils,
Write a bullet list of new stitches you’d like to try
Maybe, if it doesn’t hurt, try knitting or tunisian crochet uses different muscles
I do agree that you should take a complete rest and let it heal before doing anything. It might get sad but it’s for the best for your health
