Well it’s been one of those nights where I can’t sleep I’m thinking about all the what if’s my mind won’t let me sleep at all. I had 3 mental breakdowns in one night. I thought my mental health was getting better I guess I was wrong. My parents have been way too hard on me to the point I don’t think I can take on anymore. I’m stressed out can’t have a break from anything. Maybe I’m not as good as I thought I was. Anyways thanks for letting me rant.

Don’t doubt yourself, you’re better than who you think you are.
I wish I wasn’t doubting myself but after being compared to siblings and friends that’s all I really can do.
I understand. I know it’s hard, but try not to let those comparisons get to your mind. Different people are good at different things. I have a friend who is exceptional in math and comparing my maths skills to them is like failure. However, that same friend’s writing scores are lower than mine.
Think about what you are good at whenever you are let down. Your friends and siblings could also wish they were as good at that thing as you.
Thanks I needed that tonight
mental health is one of those things that are a lil difficult to track. just remember those silly affirmations
I am loved
I am wanted
Im so sorry ![]()
Can I let you in on a little secret?
All you have to do is give it to God! He can give a peace that passes all understanding!
If you want to talk more about this feel free to dm me ![]()
Journaling is a great way to help you process all of these emotions you don’t have to journal to process you could also crochet, go for a run read a book, talk to someone. As long as it is an activity you enjoy and you feel a bit better afterwards. It is important to release these emotions in some way otherwise they will build up and eventually find their own way of getting out. Be kind to yourself and remember your brain will believe whatever you tell it ( so if you tell it that you are loved and important it will start to believe that over time). It’s a very clever psychological trick that has worked for me so many times even with things unrelated to mental health such as studying for tests ( I tell my self that knowledge comes to me easily and that I know everything
) trust it actually works. You just have to be careful with negatives like ‘I am not scared’ the brain tends to ignore the ‘not’ and focus on the ‘scared’ part, which isn’t very helpful. I am here for you if you ever need someone to talk too. You’ve got this and keep telling yourself positive affirmations, the storm will soon pass ![]()
