I use 3.5mm the most. Sometimes 3 if I want it tighter. It gives good sized amigurumis and it’s not too slow for clothes (still slow but i couldn’t put up with thicker yarn for clothes). I think it’s a good size for many purposes.

My all time favorite hook size is 5.5mm with a weight 4 yarn so that I can make wearables and accessories!

So excited for some good yarn (finally won’t have to keep using Walmart yarn ) also my favorite hook size is a 2.5mm and a 5mm since I use those for my 2 favorite projects

ive come to love the 4.00mm hook, specifically my susan bates. i have both inline and tapered, but that inline is my absolute favourite. its so buttery and smooth when making my stitches

Eeee this is so exciting !! My favorite hook size is probably the 6.0mm because I make so many plushies, but 5.5mm for wearables is a close second haha

So excited! I’m happy that we will finally get yarn that is made by crafters for crafters. It will make everything so much better I just know it! My favorite hook size is 5.5 mm and I honestly prefer chenille chunky yarns

Yay, more yarn! My favorite hook sizes are probably 4.5mm for worsted weight, and 5mm for chennile. Can’t wait to buy more yarn I don’t need!

Hmm. Probbaly a 5mm hook for velvet yarn or 6 mm for chunky chennile! Chennille is the best! (Hint hint premier parfait chunkyyyyy) so please besure to focus a lot on that please!

Oh I am so excited!!! My absolute favorite hook that I try to make all projects work for is my Boye orange cushioned handled 5mm H hook.

I love that hook so much and I also lose it a lot that I actually own 5 of that same hook. I keep 1 in my purse, 1 in my glove box, 1 stays on the table by our couch, and the other 2 are wherever or in use.

I also like 3.5mm as well. Sadly a lot of stuff on ribblr calls for 3.5 so I have had to get used to it, but that 5mm is where it’s at for me. These other ribblrs need to get on board the 5mm train.
