What all hobbies do you have/get to know me

I just realized i never really introduced myself so here it is
Hi im Hannah and in from Pennsylvania. Im currently 25. I first learned to crochet in 2017 when my aunt taught me. I didnt really take it seriously until 2021 when i started my etsy shop. I also taught myself how to sew, (very basic) knit, make jewlery and i have sell all of these crafts on my etsy as well. I also love animals. I got a hamster after i graduated and through research i found that there are a lot of unsafe small pet products and for a while i had an insta to help promote small pet care. But since my hamster i had gerbils, rats, mice, and currently guinea pigs (well since 2018). I also have a separate etsy shop strictly for small pet products. Though my shops are still teeny tiny i love to share my creations with everyone and meeting other crafters online.
What all hobbies do you have?

My hobby is finding new hobbies :rofl::rofl:

Crocheting is the only one I’ve stuck to (five years now since I started)

Crocheting is my main hobby (takes up most of my life ), but other than that, I bake, play video games, read manga, and draw/paint.

Does yarn shopping also count as a hobby? :joy:

My favorite thing to do is play games, when I have the time or motivation it’s crochet. My favorite game is genshin impact (Please don’t bully me)

I honestly don’t think there is a hobby I HAVENT tried my hand at. :sob:
The ones that stick with me the most are crochet (of course) which I have been doing for 5 years now, I like to sketch and love incorporating mixed media into my drawing (example photo below), I LOVE READING (my favorite series is the inheritance games rn), I like gaming (mostly for the lore aspect though, any FNaF fans here?), I also make jewelry. I just recently tried wood carving (though I don’t think it’s for me:sweat_smile:), and have been meaning to try knitting and embroidery. I also run a small shop on Tedooo.
Any hobby suggestions?

Omg that’s such a cool drawing! Im kinda jealous lol. I really wanted to do wood carving a while back but it never happened. I also wanted to try stain glass art buuuut im a little too accident prone to actually try it. I remember making stamp-like art in school (idk the actual term) we had a 4×6 almost leathery feeling thingbthat we carved into and rolled on paint, then “stamped” it on papper. It was really fun

Crochet is one of the main ones. Cello is the biggest though, as in it takes most of my hobby time. (Plus that’s what’s going to be getting me a scholarship lol)
I also am the family’s birthday cake maker, I make jewelry, read, paint, and sew a little. I have a hamster as well!!

Oh gosh, I have too many hobbies! I crochet, knit, weave on a loom, draw, write stories, sculpt with a 3d pen, needlepoint, crossstitch, paper quill, and probably more that I can’t think of right now, lol!

I actually want to learn how to sew plushies, but my mom said absolutely not, I have too much as it is.

I had many guinea pigs when I was younger, and they were my world. Please give yours extra carrots for me!

I had a loom kit thing when i was younger and the only thing i made were square “pot holders” as i called them. I gave them to EVERYONE. I’d love to pick it up again and make more “sophisticated” things. Do you have anything recommendations on supplies?
Also whats paper quill?

Paper quilling is coiling strips of paper to create art, like this: (not mine)

As for actual loom weaving, it’s kinda expensive. I was only able to really start weaving bc a very kind someone gifted me a used version of this loom:

But if you really want to try weaving, you can make a diy loom with a frame and some nails, which I actually tried for a bit before getting the above loom.

Or a heddle loom made with wood and a saw:

It’s honestly a lot of fun, if you do indeed wish to try weaving.
(And yeah, I made “pot holders” non stop as a kid.)
