What’s your opinion - is it good? I’ve heard it’s pretty bad compared to Divine Rivals, so I haven’t read it yet.

The Lunar Chronicles are great!
What do you think of Sunrise on the Reaping?
I’m still waiting to be able to borrow it from my library.

I’m just reading some random book about (Very rude) Things to say to someone during an argument because it makes me really bored when I’m trying to go to bed so then I don’t have to worry about being really into my book

ā€œWhat Happened to Rachel Riley?ā€ by Claire Swinarski for the 3rd time in this week lol

It’s written in first person (my personal favorite style) and it’s a mystery book I guess.

Kay, so I notice that no-one else did descriptions of their books but I spent like an hour writing this soooooo, yeah. I’m just going to leave it.

It’s about a girl who comes to a new school and is helped to find her homeroom by a girl (Rachel Riley).

Anna is the girl Rachel helped. She’s also the main character.

Her new teacher, Ms. O’Dell tells the class to do an un-essay. She says it can be on any topic of your choice. That week, Anna receives a letter in the mail about applying to a podcasting summit summer camp. Anna decides to kill two birds with one stone and make her application and un-essay the same thing.

Now Anna must choose what topic to base her podcast on.

I think in the book, it’s like a week later, so Anna still doesn’t know that many people.

Everyone’s at lunch and the principal is calling off the names of people’s who’s birthday is today, and of course since Anna’s the new kid, no one really knows her to cheer and clap, but some people clap for everyone. So she gets applause, but when Rachel’s name is called, everyone goes silent. Rachel is just sitting there, eating her apple like nothing happened. Rachel was a complete social outcast of the first degree. This is how Anna realizes that it’s not that Rachel doesn’t have friends, it’s that she has enemies.

This is when Anna decides to make her topic be: What Happened to Rachel Riley?

A couple days later, her teacher asks everyone to send in voice recordings of what their topic will be. Anna sends in hers, and her mother gets an email from Ms. O’Dell saying that Anna can’t do that project because she wouldn’t want the student in question (Rachel) to feel ostracized. So Anna’s mom (she’s a lawyer) sends an email back to O’Dell saying how on the homework assignment she noticed the exact phrase; ā€œa social topic of your choosing.ā€ She flexs her legal muscles saying like she could sue the school and O’Dell unless she would say that her original assignment paper work was wrong or that Anna could continue with her assignment but, Ms. O’Dell still won’t budge. Anna decides to do a recycling project for Ms. O’Dell’s class but is still going to do RR project for the summit application and though she was trying to keep the project under wraps, she asked her friend from French class, Bee, if she knew anything. Problem is, Bee can’t keep a secret for anything. She told basically the whole school and Anna could hear their whispers and feel their stares.

After many mini podcasts, and voice recordings, and text messages with different girls from school Anna finally finds out what Rachel did.

I’d tell you, but I wouldn’t want to spoil it. If you still want to know, reply to this with a  emoji and I’ll privately dm u the end of the book.:pink_heart:

I have to watch it again. I just finished rereading it about a week ago for the fourth time.

Which one is your favorite so far?

Are you on the first one?

I just finished it for my book club about 2 weeks ago. 100000000/10

Who is that by?

Do you have to do a book report on it?

The book sounds familiar, what is it about?

I think that is on my TBR

Fablehaven sounds so familiar, what is that about?

Is it about flying?

I’m 25 so I might check it out

I’ll have to add this to my TBR

Who is that by?

What is the series about?

The book keeps catching my eye from where it is on the shelf. That’s Rebecca Yarros?

That’s on my tbr. I have to wait for it to come up during bookclub though.

What is that about?

Is that part of a series?

That sounds so familiar what is that about?

Might have to add it to my TBR

It’s on my TBR, it keeps staring at me from the shelf

It’s always good to have some winding down books.

I’ve heard good things about it.

I love the description. I love seeing what people think about the book and a nice description.
