So in school, before the first bell rings we have to go in the gym And i get to school 20 minutes early so im always in the gym in the morning and my friends don’t sit with me for some reason :p. So i think this is a great time to crochet. BUT i have no idea if im aloud to and i also don’t know if ill get made fun of or smth. What do you think???

I think it should be okay if you crochet in the mornings! I like to crochet during my free period at school, and my teachers let me. Personally, I’ve never gotten made fun of for crocheting - the worse I’ve gotten is “Crocheting is for grandmas!” but I just ignore people who say that. Most people at school who see me crochet think it’s really cool, and want me to teach them. I think you should try it out, and see how it goes! <3

where I live, no one cares because they see the cool Pinterest and TikTok crochet things and think it’s cool.

I’ve only ever gotten curious looks when I crochet out in public, but I don’t know if the situation different where you are…
I think that you should use the time to crochet.
It’s healthier for your mind than just sitting and waiting (I find the method of “sit and wait patiently like a good teenager” ((ARRRGH TEACHERS)) is really mind-numbing, even with a topic to think about. I often go wild when I get a chance to think… like, really think.)
And, you won’t know if it’s not allowed if you don’t try!

From my experience people are curious what I’m making and talk to me, I’ve never been made fun of and people instead admire what I do or ask me to knit them a hat even though I’m crocheting. Give it a try.

Do what makes you happy! I had a hard time in school as well because my friends never invited me to be in the groups they hung out with in the morning, I wish I would have had crochet to do while I was waiting. If people make fun of you they suck and you shouldn’t pay attention to them tbh. I like to tell people when they ask me why, that it’s better than scrolling on my phone. I say go for it!! Don’t let your creativity be hampered by what ifs.

I think it’s a good idea! In my school everyone thinks I’m cool cuz I know how to crochet 
And my class teacher crochets too!
