What is the dumbest ways you have lost your hooks?

Guys I was making @CrochetByDania 's lazy dragon and I was stuffing the neck when my hook slipped out of the loop. I looked for about ten minutes but couldn’t find it then felt something in my sleeve, It turned out my hook fell in my sleeve and I somehow didn’t notice it​ I have never felt this dumb in my enitire life

I was crocheting last night and when my hook slipped, I shot it like an arrow at mock5 speed into my water jug, I sat and stared for 5 min, like did that really just happen.

I lost my favorite hook for months, then one time I tried to use my gray yarn and it wouldn’t pull, it was caught, and I dug around inside the yarn and found my hook stuck in there XD

oh, damn
mine is:
i was sitting on my bed crochetimg ( the blanket was pulled back) and i get up to grap some stuufing. im guessing the hook slipped from the loop, and when i sat back down it got stabbed through the matteress cover some how, cos when i look for it i see this lump in my mattress, and there it is lol
