What is the dumbest ways you have lost your hooks?

I lose my hooks ALL THE TIME, I’ll get to get something or just take it out to count stitches and then * poof * gone same with stitch markers

I’ve found my hook in my couch on the floor and up my sleeve many times after looking everywhere else first. at the time it wasn’t funny but I do laugh now when it happens again.

One time I was crocheting with my FAV hook and my cat Binx was laying next to me and he literally whacked it out of my hand XD

There was also a time where my hook started to squeak so I took it off my project and rubbed it through my hair. (Terrible dandruff makes for a good lubricator lol) Then I was like “where is my hook?” And I was searching up and down to find out it was in my hand THE WHOLE TIME

one time I was crocheting (my dog was laying next to me), he liked to take and/or eat my yarn and hooks, so my hook fell out of the loop so I could go to the bathroom and my dog came up to me with my hook and my yarn BOTH in his mouth when I got out of the bathroom.

I usually just sit on them and the worst part is that they are pretty thick so idk how I don’t feel it im always looking for 10 mins then I stand up and it rolls between the couch cushions so then im even more confused! Then I give up and 2 days later find it

I like to crochet in my bed and I have this gigantic stuffed bear and one day I stopped crocheting and couldn’t find it. I went a whole WEEK before thinking to check under the bear and there it was. I was sleeping next to it the whole time. Another time I lost my scissors and woke up with it poking my side. That was super fun​

Here’s mine:
Once I was making a really big loaf cat and I left for 5 seconds. When I came back I stuffed it not realizing where my hook was. Then I felt what I was making and realized my hook was IN the project lol​
