Hey fellow strangers and friends! (AGAIN)( sorry about all the random post from me)
So I recently made a post about a few different things, but in that post I talked about a market that I had gone to recently. I felt like I had sold a little, but not very much. (I sold $150-$200 range, and my booth few was $40) Many of you had actually said that I did pretty good for a market like that!
So, I started to think that maybe my expectations had become too high due to watching popular YouTubers sell thousands at one market…
What do you all think? What is a good amount of money to make at a market to consider it a success?

I think yes, especially for a space that costed 40 i think of having a market myself and 200 would be my biggest expectations

I normally like to make 3 to 10x the booth fee. The ones that make thousands pay hundreds in booth fee.

I think it’s nice, and those YouTubers you’re talking about probably go to huge markets where there’s thousands of people, the booth fee can sometimes be even as high as a 100$ so I’d say don’t compare yourself with them, you did awesome!

It definitely depends on how large the market is and how many other similar stalls there are.
You mentioned yours was quite small so around the 200 range is honestly pretty good.
I wouldn’t really compare to those larger creators too, more experience more well known as well and they probably started the same way everyone else did and just got better along the way.
At least that’s what I think, for me it’s more making people happy and not really about the money. The money is great so I can continue doing more markets, but making people happy is even better.
