What’s your age group?

Love seeing so many younger folks getting into fiber arts, but also looking for people closer to my age! What’s your age group?

i turn 28 this year! i don’t have younger siblings but i was trying to teach my colleague’s 11yo how to crochet

if anyone has tips for how to teach kids do share! i tried starting her with acrylic yarn but it kept splitting, then i got a thicker chenille but she struggled to see where to put the stitches :face_holding_back_tears:

Woobles yarn seems perfect for this! It’s definitely more expensive, but it great for beginners. It’s somewhat chunky, doesn’t fray, and has very clear stitch definition.
