My first crochet project was to make a stress ball. I was 8ā¦ Needless to say it did not turn out good. It looked more like a sausage because I used double crochets rather than single crochets - there were giant holes in the stitches.
I was more a knitter back than, now itās most definitely the other way round.

My first crochet project was a Dino from woobles, it was all lopsided and had a bunch of holes! And the eyes and tail were definitely NOT sewed on correctly or it the right spot.

My first one was an amigurumi cat, was supposed to be round but ended up a little egg shaped because I couldnāt keep track of the stitch count lol

do you mean when it says to turn your work? if so, it makes it have a flat bottom so you can easily sew it on to the frog part
