I need help with the differnce :)
Catholics worship saints as well, which we (Evangelicals) see as idols. I’m not really sure if I consider Catholics Christians, but I hope that they will go to heaven since most of my family is Catholic.
I would also say the same as not seeing Catholics and Christians. I am Presbyterian and I believe we also see them as being wrong.
Catholics do not worship saints, we venerate them. We do not pray to them, we pray for their intercession. Since we believe all saints are in heaven, praying through one is praying through someone right next to God Himself.
Interesting.
Not all Catholics are the same though, and really every religion has people who do it differently.
My grandpa is Catholic and believes that a person of any religion can get to heaven if they’re a good person and lead a good life, I disagree but i’m just putting it out there.
Yea the way he thinks is wrong. The bible says that you have to believe that Jesus died for your sins, and acept him into your heart. It differs for evry person though, and that’s whatI think. (srry for offending you [if I did ] )
Ik that Catholics believe that people who weren’t introduced to God in anyway (I don’t have a example sorry) can still go to heaven
Bc it’s not there fault they were never taught or told anything about him
And God is the only one who can decide whether someone can go to heaven or not and obvi we haven’t met him yet lol
