My favorites are my ophire resin ones (for wearables) and i have an interchangeable hook size one i found on amazon for my amigurami (yarniss is the brand i believe). Im one with wrist issues and these are pretty comfortable for me to use.
Mine is either my clover 3.25 or my Woobles 4.00
I use yarniss too! my fave is 3.5 for plushes
I use clover hooks! I have arthritis in my hands and these are smooth enough they don’t hurt a lot.
My 3.5 mm from hobbycraft! I think the brand is pony
I might have to try some. Im bit exactly sure if its arthritis i have or just carpal tunnel, but between crocheting and working in a kitchen (and being clumsy) my wrists have definitely weakened
I keep hearing good things about clover hooks! Are woobles hooks ergonomic?
Same everyone recommends clover
They are the best ones I have found so far that are smooth enough that the yarn glides through. I also have very tight tension and they are still very easy to use!
I do too. I’ll definitely have try them out. I just havent because every time i went to get some they were sold out lol
My favorite hooks are my furls streamline hooks (6mm) and my clover hooks (3.5mm).
This hopefully makes sense
So with my ophires when the pattern calls for a 5mm i fell like i need to size down to like a 4.5 (which is why i dont like them for amigurumi), are clover hooks like that too?
I usually don’t need to size down with my clover hooks. But it depends on your tension if you need to size down or not.
My facorite hooks are the prym metal hooks with plastic grips, i use sizes 3-5 [fav is 3.5]
And i use the prym 4 m plastic one forplush yarn
I don’t have that issue with them! I used the hook that pattern calls for and it works out fine!
Yeah, woobles are ergonomic!
I always use a 3.25 clover hook for acrylic (4) yarn, and it’s perfect
Woobles 4.00 and a random 6.00
3ᗰᗰ Oᖇ 3.5 ᗰᗰ
2mm for cotton or 3mm for acrylic, I really like the pony brand they have a tin of sizes
